Hey everyone,
Just joined the forum, since I will be purchasing a Canon 7d on craigslist shortly. Can't wait to get into using it.
Since I have no experience with the Canon 7d, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on purchasing a used one. I have bought things off of craigslist before, so I know about the general scammer stuff, but I was wondering if anyone had any specific things to look for. Maybe there's a certain serial number ensuring that is actually a 7d, or there's a typical problem with them that goes bad all the time, and how I could look for that.
Also, I should obviously take some pictures with it to test, but since I've never used one, any specific settings I should try to ensure it's in working order? I'm going to brush up on the Canon manual just so I don't look like an idiot when I arrive, but any other helps/tips anyone would have would be appreciated. Thanks,
