Purchasing A Used Dvx100b

Hi,
I just bid on a 100B on eBay with a final price of $1,877, plus shipping, but the seller's reserve price wasn't met, so he's offering a second chance to the high bidder (me). The camera has 144 hours and a Century Pro Series HD .6x wide angle adapter. Isn't this particular adapter for the HVX200 and not the 100B? I have until tomorrow to make a decision. If anyone has time, would you mind taking a look to see if you think it's worth the investment? Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320183849071&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=011

I truly appreciate your time and have a fantastic Thanksgiving.

I would check that this second chance offer is genuinely from the seller.

I nearly got taken myself once.

It happens when you bid on an item and don't win. Then you get these second chance offers but they are not from the original seller. They may have genuine e-bay graphics and look genuine.

All correspondence needs to go through my messages on ebay.

Check to see that any correspondence you receive is also in the inbox of your ebay account.

You need to be really sure you are dealing with the original seller.

Given that, there is only a 2 feedback rating for this seller so you need to proceed with caution. I would'nt go for it myself but perhaps you can use some other method to establish the camera actually exists and you are dealing with the genuine seller.

As for the price, I would not know as I am in Australia.
