So I pulled the trigger on a 5d3.

My Rokinon 85 1.4 and tamron 17-50 for my 60d won't work. Any suggestions for video? Prime vs Zoom? Tamron 24-70 looks like a good deal?

also can I get good audio with rode ntg2 directly into camera? Or should I keep it going into my h4n?

any good mono pods ? Is manfrotto the on,y viable option?

First off, congrats on the new camera. I always recommend one nice zoom, and three good primes. I like the 70-200 IS II 2.8 for a zoom, but the Tamron 24-70 IS lens is a very good lens as well especially for it's price. For a full frame, I like a 16mm - 50mm - 85mm for prime lenses. Rokinon makes really nice de-clicked cine lenses that have a real nice look to them. You can get a good reference audio out of that rode, but for anything serious keep the H4n. As far as monopods go, the manfrotto 561 is really IMO the only game in town. GREAT monopod.

Thanks! Maybe the rokinon will work. My only gripe with the 24-104 is the f4 (night and indoor shooting) I'm shooting mostly documentary and vacation type videos.

Thanks!

rokinon 85mm f/1.4 should work
about the rest, first you'd have to say what's your budget, what focal lengths you use most, and whether you prefer primes or zooms
