Purchase recommendations...

[Downtownmjb]

Hello All!

I'm really starting to get excited because I'm finally starting to accumulate what I feel I need to be able to produce quality work, but I still need a few more things, was hoping some of you could help.

I need a camera stabilization system, not the handheld jobs, but the full vest rigs. Are there any GOOD resources out there to find one fairly cheap, or possibly laymans blueprints to build my own?

Also, I need to get started on getting some lights...anyone have recommendations on an affordable starting point? Home depot?

I really appreciate your input and recommendations. Thank you, and have a killer day!

Also, I was looking for a cheap consumer camera to use for uploading...any recommendations there?

Thanks again!

With stabilizers (as with many things) you will often get what you pay for. I've heard great things about the steadicam merlin.

Lights - ebay can have some decent stuff that isn't that expensive, just do your research.
