Pulsating lights

When I edit with adobe premiere 1.5 I get pulsating lights when I light a scene. Playback on cam is fine but not when I export it after editing,the lights do a wierd pulsating effect and it pisses me off. I shoot in 24p if that matters. Is this an adobe issue or what.

sounds like you should try the same footage on final cut and thus the problem can be determined. I dont use adobe, but software is known for acting up. If you find its the program, uninstall and reinstall is the best bet. Sorry you got that.

What kind of lights?

The only time I've had lights pulsating is when I've had household fluorescents in the scene.

I can't see why any NLE would have that effect...

Have you tried to play the tape on TV? That will tell if there is something fundamentaly wrong with the footage. How could this be an Adobe issue (unless you have totally wrong settings there somewhere)?
