Pulp Fiction Reenactment

It was entertaining, but I think this is just cause I love Pulp Fiction.
As a reenactment I think you could've probably done a better job.
First of all it's really dark, and I don't really like the vignetting.
The editing was not that good.. And you broke the axis rule a few times so it was sort of hard telling "where you were" in the room..

The sound was pretty ok though, and the acting of that samuel jackson dude was ok as well. And he sounded a bit like him too, that helped:)

I think you're missing the ECU of the cheesburger. Oh no wait, it's at the end.

Oi! I did that on purpose because the positioning of his hand on the table wasn't really working. Lol and yeah I'm not quite sure why i threw the whole shot in again at the end, for some reason it just felt right.

We'll this might sound crazy, but because the lighting was so bad I decided to use the vignetting so things stood out more. I do agree that it was overdone a bit but it looked alot better than the original footage. It looks great on dvd but youtube just kills it.

As far as editing and shots go, i think your over-looking the 5 hundred million continuity errors and the people I'm working with. Just look at the first shot. Guy walks in with sweat jacket, next shot, he's in a white shirt.

He pretty much ruined all the parts with vincent, so yeah the editing might not be incredible, but i tried my best with what i had to work with.

Also, if your wondering why I randomly ended on the part where the stoner gets shot, It's because the battery died and I forgot the charger (doh!).
The stupid thing said I only used half the battery and then it just randomly died!

Oh well, but thanks for checking it out! I appreciate the honest feedback.

All I know is that when I see that shot of the cheeseburger in Pulp Fiction, I want a cheeseburger.

Looks like you guys had fun putting this together.

Haha, well if you look closely, our cheeseberger was made with

English mcmuffins :)

we worked with what we had.

But yeah, we had a blast making it. Turned out alright.

the guy playin samuel l jackson gave a great performance. the guy playin brett did perty good to. the guy playin john travolta didnt seem to be able to even do that one line though. lol

great job.

Is this a joke that I'm missing?

Sorry dude, but that entire "skit" looked like some kids got a hold of their parents video camera.

No offense taken. Some people will enjoy it, others might not. I wasn't trying to make citizen kane, i was just having some fun with friends for a high school assignment.

Fair enough... keep crackin at it, and you'll see huge improvements with every project (hopefully).
