Hey everyone,

Here are a few random stills from my short film "Convincing Benny." It was shot on with the XL1 PAL version with the mini35 and Zeiss prime lenses. It's a comedy about Benny, a guy who everyone tries to convince is gay. Enjoy!

Sounds like a funny little film. I remember once when everyone was trying to convince me that I was happy. That last grab is super nice but the two shots whereas the dudes head has 857 feet of space between him and the frame is distracting.

Any clips/trailers?

As for the first still, okay I will adjust the frame so there's less headroom. It was shot 4:3 and will be cropped for 1.85. My DP was cropping only by eye so she gave too much headroom sometimes.

The lighting looks really nice. The colors are consistent (except for the shot of the family in the kitchen). Good stuff. Clever concept too. Good luck!
