psd ng and color problem

Hey guys,
before I begin I already know that there are posts on this particular problem, however my problem seems somewhat unique. I bought my dvx100 second hand from a guy in Torono. before he sent me the cam he took it to the panasonic headquarters in Toronto to get it serviced. In the process the tech broke a small part inside the camera and the result was terrible. I recieved the camera and it worked fine for a day then my nighmare began. first it started smudging blue accross the screen and actually burned to tape. the next time i turned it on and the psd ng warning came on. I called the original owner and he was cool. He contacted the panasonic repair center and they took the responsibility for the damaged camera. I got the camera back and it worked great until now. Oh by the way the invoice states that they replaced the entire chipboard. ok all that said, now here i am 3 months later and my problem has come back. First the psd ng warning comes on (50% of the time). It's not just that though. I was shooting today and the warning came on then during one of my shots the picture turned magenta. Have any of you seen this before? Why is the picture changing color? every time I've had this psd ng problem there have been other problems to follow. Does it sound like a chipboard problem? Anyhow any thoughts/info would be appreciated.

dlang, I am not a tech, and I can't wager a comment on what it could be, but you may want to call these guys and see what they say. Tell them you are a DVXuser or that EVS referred you:
