Protecting chrosziel matte box

Since this thing is worth i
it's weight in gold I want to protect it. My current matte box on my hvx is the vocas and it just stays attached(my petrol bag has plenty of room). With my new 500
don't know if I can find a bag to hold camera with matte box attached. So I have started looking for something to store it in. I looked at the porta brace but didn't like it for the price. Anyone using a pelican case or anyother ideas.

I use the Petrol PCPR-1 It hold the HVX with mattebox attached.

I also got the 16X9 mattebox cover as well.
Works sweet as I can leave my mattebox attached all the time now.

eBay for a used PortBrace, Petrol, whatEVER! only PB I bought new was for the 500. PB bags are built like tanks, and look even better "roughed up" a bit. Typical sale price is like $175 for a $350-400 bag. Production Bags would be what you're looking for. Since my travel is not airline, I prefer soft over hard cases. Your bumpage may vary. (PS - my mattebox doesn't fit in my PB Quickdraw case either.)

16x9inc. makes a nice mattebox case that can hold the box, the filters, and a small rails system. It's not listed on their site, but it was on FreshDV.'s review podcasts
