Prores RAW and EVA1

The EVA1 doesn't output ProRes-anything. The EVA outputs a raw data signal, encodex logarithmically I. 10 bits.

ProRes RAW is a codec that some external recorders can use to capture and encode the raw signal. There are other ways.to capture it too, such as in ConemaDNG files.

EVA1 outputs Uncompressed RAW in 10-bit Log. 10-Bit Log is better math than 12-bit Linear.

Atomos Inferno can record this in multiple ways:
- CinemaDNG Uncompressed RAW
4K30p, 2K120p
- ProRes RAW HQ & ProRes RAW
5.7K30p, 4K60p, 2K240p
- RAW->Video (ProRes & DNx)
4K60p, 2K240p

Yes, 10-bit log is better than 12 bit linear, but it is still insufficient to fully cover HDR.

Not sure why camera manufacturers do not simply output the RAW data on a 12 bit PQ curve. That would be an optimum use of the data.
