Here is the latest update on my machinima project based off of Halo 3's game engine. All is explained in the article, including plot info and the latest teaser.

You guys remember that video I promised last week... Here it is. I present to you ladies and gentleman, the teaser for the Prophecy remake by Dispatch Films! Specifically tailored by the "Believe" commercial of Halo 3, the Prophecy teaser "Hope" is the harbinger of the upcoming series in December '07. Enjoy!

For those new to the universe of Prophecy, here is a quick synopsis.

Originally dubbed the "508th Brigade" movie project. Prophecy is one of the installments of a machinima trilogy based on a brigade of Spartans known simply as the "508th". On one of their routine missions investigating an anomaly, the brigade is taken by surprise when a Covenant invasion fleet attacks their fortified homeworld, Thermopylae. Fighting an invasion force they cannot defeat, the Spartans soon discover the Covenant's true intentions behind their surprise attack, and their defense quickly shifts to a desperate offense...

Good luck, used to do a bit of Machinima myself. Let us know how it goes. You got any screengrabs or posters hanging around?
 
It's Machinima, a form of filmmaking via a game engine. What they do is record a film via a Capture Card normally on a multiplayer game, or lan game. Normally these days Xbox Live. It's very complex but good. Red v Blue is a great example.
