Proof that life isn't remotely fair!

People are bitter over his luck saying "he doesn't deserve it." Seriously?! Does anyone DESERVE it?! So what if his dad is already a multi-millionaire? He played the same way others do, with the same chance others do and won. People need to get over themselves and what they're "owed."

Did he deserve to be born into a rich family? I tell you some people just get so uptight about this stuff. Who cares if he didn't deserve to win, he played into a pot that everyone has the right to play into or not and he came out on top amongst the odds. It's not about deserve it's about math, no matter who wins.

Oi.

I like it better when 10 people who work in a factory win the jackpot versus when someone who will inherit millions of dollars does. Fair is fair, not saying otherwise. Just saying I enjoy hearing about rags to riches stories versus riches to richer stories. It makes for a better narrative. :) It's also the unspoken lottery dream... and despite being unspoken, this has shattered that illusion for many.

IT doesnt bother me and word "fair" is made up by humans, it does not exist in nature, nature is not fair and life is not fair, never will be and it shouldnt be surprise for anybody.I mean, come on theres no need to be jealous or thinkg about these things, you know how much money Gates have and how much he loses during one year ? Millions ! Would you be able to lose millions of dollars , i would not want this kind of stress and such losses of money in my life, insanity.
*People often talk how much do they have but how much in reality they have counting out their debts and money which exist only in cpu files not in their physical form and can disappear overnight.

Sadly, many rags to riches stories end in bankruptcy. (Sometimes death). Poor people, who get rich quickly, usually don't know what to do with the money, so they spend it all, make sucky investments and eventually lose it all. So I don't know. Think we all would like to win the lottery. I've had more luck just working for it. Though I do find when you have something, it's more likely you'll get more. It's like when you want pizza real bad, then you buy it and the next day or so someone buys pizza for you. LOL. But seriously, notice he did this on a whim, meaning it's not something he normally does. To me it seems this was something there just for him for whatever reason.

Yup.

As rich as he is he did win fair and square. Like most of us putting a bet on its the winning that counts ....... just that bit better if its for millions.

Good luck to him I hope it won`t spoil his life like having that much money will do to him and all his family.

Well and for all we know maybe he purchased 2,000 tickets. In which case it's absolutely fair.

I agree, though -- "fair" is a meaningless *concept* invented by humans. It isn't *fair* that one dog is treated kindly while another is beaten and then thrown into a pit to be ripped apart.

I would never in my life consider someone "luckier" than I just because they have more money. We all end up as dirt, I'd rather have talent and pride and love any day over money. Some guy has 60 million bucks but he's a worthless asshole with a gold digging wife? Does it matter? No amount of money could have purchased my kinds of friends or wife or personal existence. Money gets you stuff, that's it. And in the end stuff turns to mold. What you contribute to the human experience is all that matters.

Money can provide people with an advantage, but ultimately it's what you do with that advantage. Let's see what this guy does with the money from his family and the money from winning the lottery. Does he create something great with it or allow himself to rest on it without being productive?

Exactly. Opprotunities only amount to what you create from them. I've watched people with countless opprotunities in life decide to have nothing come from them either because of fear, laziness, entitlement or plain old stupidity. Then you have a person who's given one chance at making something of themselves and they take it all the way. Can't buy character.

And, conversely, you see people who are given lots of opportunities and do indeed make the most of them and people who are not given many, but stare the few ones they do get down suspiciously and then whine about not getting any help later on.
