i'm just a few weeks away from the beginning of shooting a feature film that i wrote, called "Samurai Shampoo". but i've got a few promotional videos for it up now. please check them out and let me know what you think!

Hey, I really admire what your doing with the production diaries and all. Interesting stuff. Did you know the title of your film is very similar to this anime: (which is REALLY good)

I'm not implying you stole anything because from what I've seen there are absolutely no similarities other than the title and even that is different. Just thought it was kind of funny.

Wow, thanks! I can't wait to see the finished product as well, lol!

I'm actually going to shoot the opening scene of the movie in about 3 hours from now, so I'll probably put some screens from that up and a new diary.


As for the anime, I agree, it is amazing! One of my favorites, right up the with Cowboy Bebop. That's kind of how I got the idea for the title, but other than sounding similar, its totally different.

I filmed another scene over the weekend, and it went really well. I also added the next production diary and I'll post some screens in here. However, I must warn you that these pics are really dark, so you might want to look at them with your lights off. I must also warn you that one of the pics has a gun in it, so if you're not a big fan of the "make an indie movie featuring guns" thing, then you might not want to look at picture #2. Thanks! Any comments would be much appreciated!
