Have any of you guys used one of these rigs? Looks pretty cool for the price,

Not worth the money.

It will give you results comparable to holding a tripod or monopod loosly at the balance point. If you are out to buy a Stabilizer, invest the money and buy a proper gimbled Stabilizer.

I got one. Sitting in the equipment room, collecting dust... Let me know if you want to buy... Not as bad as Mikko' s comment, but nowhere near the Steadicam Junior's ease and quality...
It is hard to hold DVX with it(really heavy), so it must be hell to carry HVX around...

Remember that these handheld stabilizers mimic a steadicam with an articulated arm. The trouble is-- it is your arm. Now, if you have worked out in the gym extensively and have the forearm strength of a higher primate, you will have no problems. For those of us who belong to the species homo sapiens couchus potato-us, forget it. I think even the Steadeicam Jr is going to become very tiresome quickly.

I have the DVRig Pro and am currently testing a pre-production version of the DVMultiRig. While these products are definitely not stabilizers like Steadicams, you certain can get a very smooth shot allowing the spring-loaded rod to absorb a good deal of camera movement.

the dvrigpro is a good tool for shooting long days. Now I' m doing a documantary almost 95 % handheld. Could not have done it without the dvrigpro. I have a zoom controller on oned of the handgrips and a follow focus and iris on the other handgrip. Perfect.
