Project Runway F35 spotted

Haha I don't know who this is, but I know some people in LA (assuming this is where it was shot) that sneak the F35 in on quite a few shoots.... wouldn't be surprised if this is one of them.

Would love to know more/ SEE WHAT THEY SHOT!

i think Project Runway is shot in NYC. There were promo spots airing during the show, clearly on more cinematic camera, I think that was the F35. Could it be Ed David? I know he was out of NYC and was using PIX for a while.

red brick battery - no matte box, zacuto baseplate - and maybe a 100mm macro lens from GL Optics - I think that was Ed David :)
the master of crappy looking rigs :)

mcgeedigital , follow the link above from Ebrahim and see the posts he made about it and you'll understand why (TL;DR: his concerns about the forums' COI)

Sorry but I think people on that forum are 95% amateur hacks. It a friggin SLR forum which is even worse than the "DVX" forum. I think Ed feels a little superior over there since most of those kids (average age 24 probably and wedding video guys) have never been on a paid shoot, or it could be because its so active and people get bored of the rare posts here. Naivety = energy. Like it not, I speak truth. :D

I go months without forum visits and its healthy. Im about to go again due to more paid work for three weeks straight (Thank god).

BTW I think its funny that my other post was "voted down"... what a bunch of pu**y nerds. Jesus... grow a pair.

I just went and found the posts, that and a few others that he recently made, all I can say is Uggg! I'll probably be flamed now, and if so it is probably best to open a new thread somewhere because it's off topic.

VinceinLA, I think that "other forum" is great too! (And so is this one!)
They just are slightly different flavours and aimed at bit different niches.
They do have a focus and innovation around DSLR/MILC in getting the most out of them, that most other places lack their energy.

However, if I want advice about say a Sony PMW-300, business advice, or JVC GY-LS300 then over there would be the wrong place to ask and I'd post about it over here. On the flip side I know asking deep questions about Samsung NX1 or Nikon D5200 would be unlikely to get the same quality of responses if asked here that it seems to get "other there".

I don't see the various sites as in conflict, but as complementary to each other :-)

What's so funny is Ed got banned for being critical of how another forum owned by this forum was misreporting views and "viewers" yet all in nice non-swear words and pleasent talk and yet VinceinLA can go on and use genitilia talk and nothing happens to him.

I am not saying I think Vince should get banned - because he does have good points and I agree with him - maybe Ed is over at EOSHD to feel superior - but actually the truth is that when he got the A7s he posted his test video there and EOSHD picked it up and he liked it there. Then he did a film about the experience of New York and being an artist there and again EOSHD was very supportive and he likes the people over there like Ebreham and thinks its a really nice forum.

Right now he learned about the Lenovo P50 which will be probably faster than a mac pro trash can and cheaper than a macbook pro and his next computer and the samsung nx1 which he likes for shooting small things. Even though he does get paid and does commercials and features, he still lilkes the rugged having fun spirit of filmmaking - of being like 14 and just shooting for fun and having a good time and feels that EOSHD has some of that spirit.

He also likes Andrew Reid a lot - who got into trouble on this site and was made fun of by people, and he likes Andrew's rebelious nature, even when Andrew gets mad at Ed when he posts a a7s secret sauce when Andrew seems to try to make money on the receipe. But Ed seems to be still there doing his thing.

And VinceinLA, I'm pretty sure you post on EOSHD too and I think you are my friend from the history channel but I can't confirm that. But anyway, let's all not take these forums that seriously. Forums are so nerdy anyway. And Vince is right to go away form them.

This post will probably be deleted soon and this account will get banned. But that's okay, I'll just create a new one. Maybe in honor of Jean-Yves Escoffier, one of my favorite DPs.

Talking about yourself in 3rd person may be a sign of a mental illness, Ed:)
I rarely visit EOShd, mainly because of Andrews childish Canon bashing that went on for quiet a while. But if I´m looking for the best camera money can buy at Amazon, EOShd is a place for good info.

darn it- I thought I was like batman and hiding my identity well

about to drop a doc I shot on the f35 with ultraprimes in camden nj - super excited with the look.

Also still feeling like I like the color out of the f35 more than the amira overall - how it handles blue.

am I crazy for that?
