Project looses its transition effects when sent to Motion from FCP

never noticed this before.... Is this normal?... Or is there any way to make sure i keep them in the final draft?... Do i have to redo all the transition over in Motion? thanks in advance for any help :dankk2:
 
Specifics please.

Without some details about your hardware and software set up, etc., every body would be guessing.

What sequence settings, FCS and OS version numbers, length of sequence, type of transition, etc.

Help us out.
 
iMac 27-inch i7
OS X Version 10.6.4
length of the project is about 1:45
I'm using the latest version of Final Cut Studio w/ FCP 7 and Motion 4
And the cross dissolve transition is the effect not showing up in motion
 
Transitions, generators, and filters (except for SmoothCam) don't make the trip from FCP to Motion.

Tracks, in/out points, markers, and any Motion tab changes, (opacity, scale, rotation, time remapping) do make the trip. You can cross fade in Motion with the fade in/fade out behavior.
