Project Grey shot on DVX100

it's the broken website but not
cool to see Ashley was taking some pix, he's a good cat, i dunno about the trailer, some parts are kind'a cool, looks pretty "video" to me

How did you manage to get david hasselhoff? heh jk, looks pretty cool. From the stills and the quick shot of the alien, I kind of want to see more of how the CGI is mixing in. So far the lighting looks spot on for him.

have mercy on us poor dial-up users, isnt there a link to the trailer to download? my speed suks and i cant enjoy watching steaming video.. too slow

nice work, looks like an interesting movie! great job on the motion graphics and title work too. I'll keep an eye out for it.
What was your budget for this?

You're right, it was shot on video....the dvx100. We figured, instead of trying to make it look like film, accept it as digital, and go for a new look, wish you guys could see the full res images, as they are way better, but I guess we'll have to wait till the days when 720p streaming video is available over the internet! :) for now we'll all have to wait till we watch it in theatres!

for those with slower internet connections, choose the wmv version, right click the link, and select "save target as" and that will let you download onto your hard drive.

BTW thanks for the interest! Hope you guys love the movie when it comes out as much as we loved making it! The alien was created in Maya and composited with After Effects. It took a whopping 6 months to design and rig the alien alone...lots more alien throughout the film, but when the trailer was created, it was Oct of last year...movie wont be done till end of march (last few edits and visual effects left)

Hey Christian,
Jim just noticed this post about your trailer and asked me to pass on his congratulations. We both think it looks really cool!
BTW we now have our HVX demo camera in so let me know when you want to come in and check it out and we'll arrange something.
Cheers!
