Progressive scan

HI !

I have question = what is better to do ?

Make film on sony camera HDR-FX1 in 1080i -->then change it to progressive scan 1080p on pc ? whith a better quality ? or just make ready progressive films on dvx100 but a worst quality ?

There is a lot of differences between a 1080i and a 480p look. As for which is better, this really depends upon which look you are going for. Asking which is "...better quality..." is just too subjective to be answered.

My best suggestion is to test both cameras all the way through your post work flow to see which is going to give you a look that fits your project. A minute or two of diverse footage on both should answer your question.
