Production Testing on $299 Follow Focus

Well this unit is goin for $299, and nobody has heard anything from him ....

then in the DIY forum we have someone else selling there working unit for $69, and Barry is going to review it. It should be interesting to see what happens.

Hmm.....

Focus This!.

11 posts...no homepage...a $299 FF...no pictures..."Have used prototypes, pre-productions models, and now the productions unit on various DVX-100 & 100a's"...still no pictures...oops, "I am uncertain how to post photos"...only one post in this thread...

No, nothing fishy here....

Sorry about the delay guys, have a service club philanthropy even Sunday that took a bit of time this week.

First, thanks to everyone that responded to my offer; I will be contacting people either SAT PM, or Sunday PM.
To those that responded before 2230hrs CDT Friday August 26, but are not going to be chosen to test the indiFocus, I will be keeping your name on file and if you choose to pruchase one, I'll discount it for you $50.

As to pictures, I will be posting them shortly on a geocities site.

Thank you for the positive responses!

Tim

Yeah, he is alive!!!!

Thanks for the pictures. The unit looks very interesting. I look forward to hearing from you, and to testing it out. Could have potential ...

you can add me to that testor's list. I've sent an email. Ahhh...looks like I missed the deadline! Well, if you can't have me test it add my name to the list of buyers when all is said and done.

FocusThis!-
I realize that your still in the middle of a testing phase, but do you have a ballpark idea of when you'll be able to sell these to everyone? Are we talking like 2 weeks, 2 months or more?

Oh, and two more questions...The copper hook I assume is just a mark to set focus points, correct? Also, any shot we could see pictures of the unit mounted on a DVX?

Thanks,

-Harry

the unit looks like it has some potential.

...just as a suggestion though, you should use something other than what appears to be a model airplane wheel to make friction contact with the cameras focus ring in any production models. those wheels rub off and wear down easily. a solid rubber wheel would be alot better than the foam rubber.
