Production-related Resources?

I have an HPX170 and Final Cut Pro Suite 2. Can anyone suggest either a few websites or books that give fairly detailed information about specific workflow? For example, I'd like to know the best settings on the camera, and the best settings for the timeline, if I'm aiming for a DVD release; or if I'm thinking about a possible Blu-Ray version, etc. I know there are different settings for different effects (i.e. slow motion, etc.), but a general starting point would be helpful.

I have Barry's book, which is great for learning the settings on the camera, but I'd like to know more specifics for any given situation. Thanks...
