Production Insurance?

I'm shooting a web-series sporadically over this month. I want to get general liability insurance for the production. I have my own gear, and I'm not renting anything. There are no stunts or pyrotechnics. Small crew of manly friends but i will be working with a few actors I just met, and I will be shooting at a Bar and several houses that aren't mine. I got a quote for $450 for 20 days for general Liability from a company called Movie Insure. Has anyone heard of them? Are they reputable? Is this a good price?
Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Joe

I spend $600 per YEAR for general liability ($1m) PLUS insurance on my gear. Shop around to regular insurance agents.

Not familiar with the company. If the quote is for 'the production', that is, it covers all risks by all the people working on set, then it's not a bad price. Many standard annual liability policies only cover you personally, not everyone else's mistakes.

Also make sure you can easily generate additional insureds. It always surprises me how many people come out of the woodwork when you start shooting and need to be named.

And shop around, quotes vary wildly.
