Hi guys.
I have searched for this and I'm wondering if anyone has made a DIY project like this or if the product is in development.
For shoulder rigs remote triggers are the way to go. When pressed the camera simultaneously starts recording showing a separate time code LCD display, and external devices such as the Zoom H4n can be plugged in enabling perfect sync.
When the button is pressed to record live video, time code starts, and any supplemental equipment such as an audio recording device can record as well. When the button is pressed again, all the devices stop recording.
