Product Shooting

Hey All

I shot this test to practice shooting products for an upcoming paid gig. Tell me my mistakes I want to make it better. I know the wine poured isn't the same as the wine that is in the bottle, but as far as shooting goes let me know. :cheesy:

The light setup was simple I had one 650 bouncing off a white card that was behind the bottle and glasses, then a flag in front of the glasses half way between the light and the glasses. Shot in 720p 24fps and 60fps for wine pour.

I thought those looked really good.
The camera moves were a little choppy.
But the lighting, exposure and general look
was excellent.

Looked good to me, but I'm not much of a lighting expert.

I do wish that when people posted clips like this that they would also shoot either a clip, or stills, of the setup. It would really help those of us who are still trying to learn the best way to light scenes.

I think your light is too hard. You've got this very bright streak of light on the wine bottle that even makes the label hard to read and then part of the right side (to the viewer) of the bottle is very underexposed. I would suggest using a much softer light source and more fill for the underexposed side of the bottle.
