problems with Sony A7s wifi setup...Sony wifi manual not helpful

Is there an easier to understand wifi setup than the Sony wifi PDF that I already read.

I'm unable to connect my Sony A7s to my iPhone 5, even though I went through the wifi setup on the A7s and downloaded the Playmemories app. I also registered my network access point. But my Playmemories app says "no shooting device connected". It's telling me to go to wifi settings on my iphone and select shooting device, but it's not showing up.

Haven't yet found a youtube tutorial. But would love to know if someone else has found one yet.

OK just solved it. But it looks like I can only press "record" on the Play Memories app and nothing else.
No way to display ISO? And other functions with Play memories???
No way to display camera info on the app either???
