Problems with Panasonic AG-LA7200 16:9 Anamorphic Conversion Lens

Dear All,
I bought a Panasonic AG-LA7200 16:9 Anamorphic Conversion Lens for video camera model Panasonic DVX-100B.
When using the lens on the video camera and when using the ZOOM option in the range from Z60 to Z99, the camera loses its focus and the focus can not be switched back to normal neither when using the manual, nor the auto mode. There is a probably a mismatch in the lens. In fact, the conversion lens is unusable. Can anybody help me to understand how to work properly or the conversion lens is ou of order? Many thanks in advance.

Search this issue or read the dvx book. Basically you need to use a certain aperature and zoom range for optimal focus. See also adamwilt.com
