Problems with P2 cards

Hi there -

I have searched all around for the answer to my issues before posting with no luck.

I have been using my HPX170 for 2 years now and never had this problem.

I shot some footage and when I was importing into FCP7 with Log and Transfer there were three clips that did not come in. I could view the video and audio just fine in the L&T window but they will not allow me to import them into FCP.

I had to clear my cards for another shoot so I dumped the metadata into a Hard Drive. I came back to the problem later and reloaded the footage back onto the p2 cards because I read that I needed to "repair" and "reconnect" the clips as it was showing the pink exclamation point and grey "X" on some of my clips. The repair and the reconnect options did not work unfortunately.

I am a little lpost as of this moment so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may have answered your own question there. If a clip needs to be repaired, I can understand FCP not importing it. The clip should have been repaired in-camera before trying to capture it in FCP.

You should be able to copy the contents back tot he p2 (if you copied them exactly before) Then repair in cam, then offload again.
