Problems with Magic bullet and FCS 7

Hi guys

Recently I've got a new macbook pro 17" top spec after my old intel model bit the dust. I've reinstalled FCS 3 and have also installed magic bullet (newest version). For the life of me I have no idea why but magic bullet seems to be making the footage LOWER QUALITY. Everything looks awful, its pixelated and disgusting. It's making me have nightmares at night it's that bad.

Im shooting on a canon 5dmk2 and converting the footage for PRO RES 422 (LT). All's well until I try and grade in magic bullet. I never previously had this problem. Is there a setting I'm missing or something I've not set up right. I just literally don't understand what's going on. I'm running Lion OSX (unfortunately).

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as this is a first for me.

Thank you. HELP!!!

Make sure your rendering settings are correct. Sounds like you either havent rendered the timeline fully... and so your seeing a fast "preview", or your output isn't being fully rendered.
"Safe RT/Unlimited" and also playback quality....
You can do a fast export, and double check the quality compared to your timeline renders.
