So I picked up one of those cheapie JVC cameras at B&H as an alternative to purchasing a DV deck. After successfully logging and capturing 4 tapes, it's not liking 2 specific tapes. I keep getting a message to eject and reinsert the tape and when the cartridge "ejects" from the camera, some of the actual tape is still stuck in the heads.
I've got 2 questions:
1) Is the tape ruined?
2) Has anyone else experienced any problems capturing with lower end cameras?
I'm trying not to stress out because this is a freelance gig. Ouch! Thanks for any advice.
