Hi folks, need some help!
I filmed a live music gig in 1080p on EX1s and EX3s. I saved all the data onto hard drives using XDCAM Transfer.
They are saved as MPEG HD .mov files. When I double-click on them, they open up with audio but no video. Also, I can't import them into FCP. The clips play in the Viewer with audio but no video (blank white screen), but when I drag them into the Sequence, I get the message: 'Codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card.'
I am going round in circles looking for the answer to this.
I'm using OS X 10.5.8, Quicktime 7.6.6, and FCP 5.1.4. I figure I either need a codec from somewhere, or a more up-to-date version on FCP.
Could anyone please settle this one for me and point me towards the codec if necessary?
