Problems/Issues!

Sorry,

If this is not where this topic is suppose to be- Sorry! Seriously, but I didn't know really where to post. Moving on...

I am working on a project out of pocket. Basically. Have been for a while. Two years to be technical. Where, if any, can I get some assistance - Cash wise - to continue my project under my belt.

I just ran into some small issues of cash flow. I feel really strong about this project and so I am trying my best to keep it going under my control.

Are there any places, people, or general things that could help me out with funding?

Thank you,
Braxton

Yes, there are.

Have you written a business plan for "a project", that:

1. Describes "a project".
2. States how much "a project" needs.
3. States the expected return on investment.
4. States when that return is expected.
5. Describes why you are the only one who can deliver that return.

Those are the five key points which will form your Executive Summary.

The rest of your plan will cover the Management Team, the Operational Plan, the Marketing Plan, the Financial Plan and list all additional supporting factual information and references in the Appendices.

To raise any kind of outside capital this plan will be your absolute minimum requirement. (Outside capital meaning outside of your circle of friends and family)

Right now- Kentucky.

I am moving to Phoenix Arizona in July. I have a few friends that are waiting there in order to get this moving far than what it has been.

And as far as a business plan. I have a Memorandum. I wrote it up last year. Thought that it would get me somewhere... and I never really got around to using it. I don't know why. Maybe begin lazy. More than likely not... I just forget to get things done when I have a lot going through my skull!

Now. With the plan. Who- how would I get someone in on the project?! I really don't believe walking up to someone with a business plan and say "give me money" would not work. Ha.

So far. Personally I have thrown $75,000 of my own money on this. No one else has really cashed in other than generally helping moving things. Props. Vehicles, etc...

Interesting, because in essence, that's exactly the whole point of a business plan. Its asking for money from people who don't know you from a hole in the ground.

However, deciding a negative result ahead of an event, just screams out failure. How's that been working for you?

Not so good I would think at this point.

I am not being negative. I just haven't took the time to go out and just ask randomly. To me, thinking about it, seems odd. I mean I am not going to sit here and say that I am not going to do it. I am not one to really say what works and what doesn't... I try most things out... See if it works. If it does- great! If not then oh-well...

Seriously thou- I am going to go out and try it. I just- Usually I work out of pocket. Have always in fact. I never really went to go and ask someone. I just got the idea that I could do it by myself. That's worked out well.... til recently. Ha.

You don't have to go out and randomly ask. You might create some kind of event around anything you already have so there is at least qualification about the material. Then discuss what you are looking for. For people with high levels of interest or who might even know a qualified candidate for investment, you could meet more one on one and bring out the actual plan.
