Those were awesome - alot of background noise in the tire one and the audio seemed muddy but thats probably just the compression. I really like them both though - very professional and humorous. Nice work - much better use of you and your brothers talents than kinkos...
 
I loved the concept and the execution. I do however think you need to CC the clips a little better.

good point dave and i have a question do you apply a gamma correction for tv viewing my footage always seems really dark on a tv is this to do with the clamping of rgb 0-255 to 216-235?
 
Could be a number of things. Could be that the TV isn't calibrated. Could be that your original image is just that dark (always monitor your shoots through a calibrated monitor -- or at least use the color bars on your LCD to get it as close as possible, and remember that viewing angle affects the brightness of your LCD). Could be the FX you applied in post.

When you edit, you should always preview out to a monitor or at least a TV to see what you'll be getting. You can't depend on the computer screen, because a computer screen is not the same, and what looks good on it won't necessarily look good on a TV.
 
these spots were CCed using a TV (we don't have a monitor) and unfortunately don't look so good on a computer. the TV seems to add contrast and saturation.

the money is more than enough for us. we were hired by an advertising agency called Mt Mansfield Media and we're getting paid an hourly rate (higher than kinkos) and working well over 40 hours a week. We have an office there and everything.

Right now the agency has around 10 clients and beginning tonight we're shooting 4 spots in 3 days. One of them is due on tuesday and the other 3 on the 28th. So we've got plenty to keep us busy.

We'll keep throwing the spots up here for feedback.

Nice work guys! I loved both of the spots.

I'm doing the same thing you are, only I work on a retainer for the agencies.

You do a great job at keeping the pace and humor throughout. But man, the acting in the Goss spot was spot on, how did you get that?
