Problems importing P2 into Final Cut Pro

Hi,

I shot some 720pn/24 footage last night and transferred it to my laptop. When I try to import it into final cut pro I get the message "One or more P2 clips failed to import. Probable incomplete or corrupt clips"

I have imported lots of other footage this way and it works fine...any ideas?

I fixed the problem. I copied the footage back to P2 using a G4 Powerbook. I then put the card in the camera and ingested the footage directly from the camera.

Weird.

How to did you ingest the footage into your computer?? I just want to know if I am doing anything wrong before I bring this camera back for a refund!

You open up a DVCPROHD project, and goto the IMPORT under FILE, then goto the P2 media towards the bottom.. Then direct it to the FOLDER where your P2 card can be found.. (are you doing this through the camera or is it on your HD?)
