Hi all -
I want to record an audio [voice] source from my computer (an Apple Mac Pro) into my DVX, but can't seem to get/hear any sound. Here's my configuration.
I have a 3mm stereo jack connected from the computer headphone out going into the DVX with a Y-stereo split into the CH 1 and 2 Audio Input jacks.
On the Mac under the Sound Prefs, I have the Headphones/Headphone Port selected under Sound Output. Output volume is at the 3/4 max mark.
On the DVX in the panel settings (behind the pop-out viewfinder), I have the following selected:
CH 1 Select: INT (L)
CH 2 Select: Input 2
INPUT 1: Off
INPUT 2: Off
(I'm assuming these are for the External mic settings)
And the CH 1 and 2 Audio knobs set at 12:00.
And no sound while I'm playing the source. Am I missing something?
