GH5 Problem with remote trigger / Moza Air Gimbal

Hey guys

I've been scouring the internet trying to find some insight on this. I purchased the Moza Air Gimbal recently and the built in time lapse feature isn't working for me. I've seen some YouTube comments from other GH5 users saying the same thing.

A few people mentioned something about the most recent GH5 firmware update creating some issues with remote trigger, and Moza themselves vaguely mentioned offering a new remote trigger cable that will sort this issue out.

The remote trigger cable does technically start and stop record, but again no timelapse feature.

Curious if anyone has noticed this issue or any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Sean

Yes. Gudsen said to use with timelapse you need another cable. The included cable only work for stop/start. There are several fb user groups that you can join as well.

I recently got the Moza Air on the B&H deal.
I have since purchased the external controller, which is very useful to have.
Now I guess I will have to purchase this additional cable for my GH5 also?
Shrug, I still think it was a good deal with the B&H sale...

Definately let us know if it works, as I will order one.
Hard to tell from the order page, as it doesn't say updated, etc..
Oh, that's the Air Cross page, newer than the Air, hmmm, could be a new cable.
Hope so.

Just a heads up I saw on one of their YouTube videos they mentioned there's a Panasonic control cable you can now buy from this page: http://www.gudsen.com/store-moza-aircross.html

I just ordered it via PayPal, fingers crossed it works!

It doesn't day "Shutter Control" cable so it is probably the same cable that already works to start and stop video recording.

We need to keep writing Gudsen and bugging them on their Facebook page until they get it out. I have been for months.
