Problem with Premiere Pro

When I export my footage, it comes out like this. The aspect ratio was 1280 x 720. In other ratio's the image properly appeared however it was too squashed and wasn't right.

The 1280x720 aspect ratio is the right size however when exported, it looks like this:

I used Adobe Premiere PRO CS3 and it was in AVI.

The titles are fine, only the image is blacked out.

This exact problem also appears in the preview section of Magic Bullet Looks (in conjunc with Premiere Pro), this I can only preview less than a quarter of the screen.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

If you're seeing this problem within your editing software as well there is an issue with that. Maybe you're running out of memory? I've never seen anything like this before.

Have you tried exporting the footage without Magic Bullet applied? If it works, make sure you have the latest version of Magic Bullet running. One thing I've found (as someone who uses Looks a lot) is that Magic Bullet Looks is very particular about the system it runs on...I've seen it do odd things to footage before.

Yeah it exports fine without the Magic Bullet effects. This could be the problem, however the fix doesn't seem to be out unfortunately.

Make sure you're running version 1.2. If that doesn't work, it could be that your video card isn't supported by Looks...

I had problems in the past with Looks acting funny with HDV footage, but that's gone away with the latest versions.

Yeah, Magic Bullet (Looks and otherwise) is a buggy pile of crap that produces excellent results if you have the patience for it.

I haven't had that exact problem, but occasionally I'll get odd things like a whole color channel dropping out, or the image flipping, or some other nonsense.

The solution I usually use is to tweak on element *ever so slightly* and try it again. That works a lot. Alternately, I'll remove and then re-add the effect (although with Looks that's really annoying). Sometimes I just have to reboot my computer.

It's just incredibly finicky, but rarely impossible to fix.

Agreed. I faced so many problems, even after installing CS4, but finally I got it to work:

Theres a slight fault at the bottom of the screen, but I'm sure theres ways around that too.
