I shot on the 5D last night and filled a 32 G CF card until it said card full while shooting. All the mov clips play fine in camera. This is an important event that I shot for a friend, and it won't happen again.

The first 5 mov files copy over fine. I can play them in quicktime right off the card on my computer. I can't play the rest of the mov files off the card on my computer.

when I put the CF card in the card reader: "Mac OS x can't repair the disk "EOS_Digital" You can still open or copy files on the disk, but can't save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk or reformat soon as possible"

when I copy the file to my drive is says :"The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “MVI_0960.MOV” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)"

Can anyone please help me get these movs working and off the card? thanks for any help with this.

also when I try to play the problem files off the card in quick time I get the following message

"The document “MVI_0979.MOV” could not be opened.

The file may be damaged or may not be a movie file that is compatible with QuickTime Player."

found a solution that I'll post just in case others have this problem. strangely, i put the card reader on a PC and they downloaded and then I transferred to a mac, problem solved but an oddity none the less.
