Thanks all for reading this. We have an important shoot coming up this week and have had a strange (though not dehibilitating) problem with our HPX-500. After not being used for 2 days, we went to power up the camera and saw that the built-in 3.5 in LCD screen wasn't working properly. It displays a white screen with a few think black horizontal lines. The eyepiece works, and it sends out a proper display when connected to a monitor, but the LCD doesn't work no matter how it's adjusted.
We have only had the camera for a couple of months and have treated it with extreme care. The LCD screen worked fine 2 days ago when we powered up the camera to display some footage, but hasn't been touched since then.
I've contacted tech support, but they're a little slow to get back to me. If anyone has had this problem before or has any ideas, help would be really appreciated. I know that the LCD screen isn't the best display, but it is convenient for the shoot we're doing next week and to work with solely the eyepiece or a monitor would slow us way down.
Thanks again for any help you can suggest.
