Problem with hmc150 log and trans clip

I have been using this camera almost daily since it came out and this is the first problem I have and I have a feeling its because I updated to the latest firmware, here is the problem:
I shoot a presentation, 720 PH 30p it was about one hour and a half, its just one complete clip on the transend 16gb class 6 card. this is the same card I've used hundreds of times and when I am on the log and transfer window on fcp it stops somewhere in the middle of the transfer and gives me a red exclamation sign, I am trying to transcode to prores lt and the box that says remove pulldown is unchecked like everyday before, any ideas? is there any way to bring it back to the old firmware?

I've had this a couple of times during long clips. What I generally do is set an end marker just before where you 'think' the problem is happening and capture that portion. Set an in marker sometime after that and capture the end bit, then mess with the in/out points to try to grab the middle. It seems like there is a bad encoding somewhere.

Alternatively download MPEGStreamclip (it's free) and try transcoding the raw files through that. You will lose timecode but at least it's an alternative.

It's not a card problem as such. I've had it happen on several cards, but then never happen again on that card. The camera only needs class 4. Giving it a class 10 won't really make any difference on the recording side of things, it just makes it faster to read in a computer (subject to your reader being able to take advantage).
