GH1 Problem with GH1 image -- green spot in middle -- what is it?

What sort of issue is causing this green circle inside my image? I've switched lenses. I did a pixel refresh (even though it's clearly not a dead pixel). The sensor appears to be flawless to the naked eye. Any ideas? EDIT: I'm thinking it's a lens flare...though I've never seen flares like this occur in such situations with different lenses at the same time. Is this a problem using Nikkors with a 4/3 sensor?

It could be a sensor flare from a reflection of the sun on some internal surface of the lens mount. I've seen this happen when shooting in broad daylight with the sun at an oblique angle to the lens.

I'm thinking that it really is a flare. I don't see any dust. Sensor looks pristine. It's an annoying flare, however. I could see this ruining a lot of shots. Maybe there is some sensor issue that can cause a persistent flare. But I'm thinking it's just something to do with Nikkors and bright light on a 4/3 sensor. Turns out my Nikkor 17-35 does not exhibit this green dot in the same light, so that pretty much confirms the flare theory. Nasty though.

Interesting. I was reading about bad flares coming up on the FS100 tests when the Nikkor adapter mount lacked a "baffle." I wonder if it has something to do with using a cheap mount. I will get an Adaptimax mount and compare to see if it's some light refraction within the mount itself. (Oh, and Adaptimax confirmed that their FS100 mounts will come with some sort of baffle/choke for that flare issue. Totally solid company with great customer service by the way.)

I notice a green spot flare like this with my 28mm manual lens that has a UV filter, take the filter off and the flare goes away - internal reflections between the lens and the filter.

And I found with a polarizing filter the green flare went away. Not sure where it's originating--in the lens or in the mount--but I'll have to watch for it.

I'm sure I read some weeks back here in this forum about both the GH-Xs and AF100s having a problem with this. Not sure what the reason was.
