I own a DVX-100Bp, that is about four months old. Recently I was shooting a music video and during the shoot the camera would display a message that read "AUTO OFF, S_REEL_LOCK" I would then have to shut the camera off and turn it back on. When I turned it back on the timecode would sometimes begin at 0:00:00:00 after shooting. I never lost any footage, but sometimes I would have to go into VCR mode and rewind in order to regain the correct timecode. Has anyone encountered this kind of problem? Please help because I have another shoot this weekend and I don't want to lose any footage or further damage my camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've had that happen a couple times with my 100B, the last was about 5 months ago. it only happened to me when I was putting alot of stress on the tape loading door while hand holding it.
What worked for me was simply holding it at the bottom most of the time (or being very careful when holding it normally)
Maybe it has nothing to do with it, but my problem went away as soon as I started being more careful about wrenching on that tape door while shooting.
Are you going hand held or using a tripod? also, try the search function, there's a few discussions of that problem on here. I'm to lazy to look it up right now but IIRC it has something to do with the actual tape mechanism, it isn't a software problem.
