Problem with deck?

I am working with a Panasonic AG-DV2500 Deck. Shooting with a DVX-100 in 24P. The problem I am having is the audio. When I am capturing the audio/video into my Avid. The audio sounds like it has a bunch of digital glitches in it. But, when I play the tape on my DVX-100 it sounds fine. I have used a cleaning tape for the deck, and it still isn't doing anything. Any ideas?

48Khz vs. 32khz maybe? check your capture setings

My settings on my capture and on my deck are both 48khz.

Hello briceman,

How new is your 2500?

It's possible there is some particle build-up on the Cylinder. A cleaning tape won't help in that regard. Just a thought.
