Problem with AG-LA 7200

I bought AG-LA 7200 second hand from ebay.com for my camera 100B. When i use the zoom of my camera from Z60 to Z99 the object is not focused in hand mode and auto mode. Can someone tell me is this is normal or the problem is in the AG-LA 7200. Thank you.
 
Focusing the anamorphic adapter is not easy, and the further telephoto you go the worse it gets. It took me about 20 pages in "The DVX Book" to describe all the complexities of using the anamorphic adapter.
 
Barry knows! Get the book, I can't tell you how much it helped me... I'd have been lost without it.
