I was shooting in a bathroom the other evening and when I went to check how a take went, I had glitching footage like the camera got really cold or something like that. I used a head cleaner and then ran a test and it was ok.... but after a few more takes to finish the shooting in this location, I checked and nothing was recorded after that head cleaner went through. At one point or another I saw a red flashing circle with an X through it, but after switching tapes I no longer had the problem. Any ideas on what had happened and ways to avoid it? I was very scared that my camera was failing on me but it only has like 50 hours on it. Oh and just to save a second post, I used a dvxuser battery for the first time on this shoot, and I advise all dvxuser's to invest in them. It's a wonderful product.
