Problem w/ DVX100: from camera to VCR

Hi, i have a problem with my DVX100BE. When i start it, sometime it switch from camera modo to VCR mode by itself. It doing this with no regularity.
Some times if i push the volume bar, it doesn't work and it appears lately (moves up and down by itself) and some times the time bar appears when i push the camera/VCR button.
Why my camera do this? :(
I'm pretty worried about this :(

You can always try resetting the camera to the factory defaults and see if that corrects the problem.
 
Can I ask if there is another way of resetting the camera other than pressing the reset button on the control panel of the camera? Thank you!
