I am very tahnkful for the guide of MichaelP to make progressive dvd. It has helped me a lot. I usually use the standard Pal _Large preset from Sorenson Swueze and bur with reel with no problem.
But with pictures which are almost overexposed, but not overexposed i usually have a lot of quality loss. As i see the dvd on a projector. But if i see the dvd on a computer its not visible such quality loss.
For example i have a shot of a big object which is being lifted with a big mashine. I shoot it against the sky but as it was a dark day it was overexpose but almost. When i see the dvd on a projector there is like an aura or a kind of margin of distortion around the objects. Not on the objects but on the near zone (this time on the sky).
But when i see it on a PC monito i cant notice it. Just if i import from the AVid sequece a screenshot and i zoom a lot, can i notice the same pixelering noise i have described.
I dont know if there is a way to avoid this within encoding or burning or is there better to use another program?
thanks for any advise
