problem focuing to infinity with canon fd lenses on fs100

[corycross]

Anyone else ever experience this problem? For some reason, I never experiences this before maybe because I never filmed something so far away and was always filming something up close, but the other day I noticed that I was not able to focus to inifinity with my canon fd lenses on an adapter I bought off ebay..... The problem being what I believe to be, the adapter from ebay.

What adapters do you guys use? anyone every have this problem? I just don't understand why someone would design an adapter that doesn't allow you to use a lens and focus to infinity... Well I guess its because they didn't put a lot of effort in it, therefore selling on ebay for $30.

Thanks.

Im currently using MTF services adapter such as Nikon g, canon fd and PL to E mount. They are superb and really build well. Never had any issues with them.

Exactly what I've experienced. Whether by design or flaw, all my Canon lenses seem to reach infinity before the rotary stop on the lens.
