i just got the proaim linear camera slider in the mail and i decided to take it for a spin. Overall, i really like it. The build quality is good, its cheap and it gets the job done. This video was shot entirely on the slider to show well it performs, nothing serious, just a bunch of shots of my dog and some outside scenery. hope you enjoy.
forgot to add that some was shot on the d90 also...can you spot the difference?

Do the D90 shots start about 0:50 in?

The slider looks like a great deal! Honestly, I would have thought there was more than 3 feet of travel from looking at the video. Seems pretty darn smooth! Great stuff...
 
you're correct...the d90 starts at :50. I think its pretty obvious. The slider was most definitely worth it! thanks!

I like the "rack focus" idea at the end.

Does the slider have a comfortable amount of drag to it?
 
you know what the best thing to use with a slider ? a rubberband. attached the rubberband on the handle and pull the rubberband. works like a charm....
