recording to an sdhc card i've found that the final 10-15 minutes of a clip is missing. i've run the preliminary diagnostic part of Treasured, and it seems to indicate that the data is there. that may be the way i end up going, but if i can speed up the process by finding a local service, with a shorter turn-around, i'll pay. the only place i can think of off the top of my head is Tekserve, but i don't know what kind experience they have with rebuilding complete bpav files.

suggestions are welcome. thanks in advance.
 
thanks JD, that's what i was referring to when i mentioned, Treasured. as it turns out they have a rush option. i'm in the process of attempting a repair with them as i type, and if it works i'll be very impressed. and grateful - the price doesn't seem that much considering the awful feeling that comes with potentially losing footage.

hopefully this works, and i don't have to go looking for a local option.
 
it seems like aeroquartet.com has dropped the ball. they sent me an email asking if i wanted the "repair kit." to which i replied, yes please! that was at 2am and that's the last i heard from them.

Try posting here or type file recovery in search. (found a lot of info) (couldn't copy and paste page with results on search, but there was alot?)

Try It.
I did.
Was a bit hard to use but you will get useable files.
Do not expect to get everything, but system works.
 
i eventually got back 6 minutes of what i believe was about 10 or so lost. their product is sound. their communication is unpredictable and incomplete. i have the impression this is a sideline. if you are are under the gun, with a tight deadline, i would suggest looking for a faster alternative.
