Yeah maybe ... but it's so awesome, that I even feel a little less competitive now ...

don't get me wrong, I still wanna win as much as ever just for the sake of doing well/success and rah rah rah, and all that other Texas football stuff that I was indoctrinated with ...

... but I think I can honestly say that losing doesn't sound so bad because this is sooo ridiculously coooooool and generous that I couldn't help but be stoked anyway that SOMEONE won it ... that that just happened in the world, that somebody was that fortunate and that Barry and Jarred and Pete are that cool.

Wow, when you said you were going all out on prizes, you really meant it. Jarred, Barry, Pete you guys are awesome.

This is the best community I've ever been a part of on the internet and PROBABLY one of the bests period (outside of my bestfriends and all, because well they rock.)

I can't believe how far you guys stick your necks out and at that, how much of a kick you get out of it. It's truely amazing.

A no entry fee contest, lax rules, open to the public, and a first place prize like this?

Wow. You guys really are nuts.

No way man, lol :) ... this fest is gonna have highest number of awesome films of any contest I bet ... you gotta check out Spidey and Vislaw and Conrad and Hiro and SLIDEentertainment's threads over in the individual film discussions, just to name a few! (lots of other great ones)

I am definitely going to learn a TON from seeing what people pull off this contest. It is anyones game now! I bet people will kick it into overdrive with an HVX on the line.

And thanks for Barry and Pete for opening up the wallets with me on this one.. its our little way to give back to all you guys who come here every day, and help each other for nothing more than the love of filmmaking.. Ive met many friends here.. and am impressed almost every day.. so thank you.
