Print to video on FCP HELP!!

Does anyone know how to take a project from FCP 6 and print to video on the HVX? Do you have the camera on record mode or playback mode? Both aren't working?? Any ideas? Also I have a lot of footage from Beta SP tapes, does that make a difference?
